Soundpost Music Festival Itinerary
Thursday, May 8th 2025

7:55 am Meet in the MS Band Hall – Dressed in Jeans and Band T-Shirt.
9:15 am Load the buses and depart for Canton. *May depart earlier to see if we can’t get an earlier time slot.
10:40 am Arrive at Canton HS. Immediately unpack and get ready to warmup.
11:00 am Warmup
11:15 am Performance in the Canton Auditorium*
11:45 am Load buses and head for Splash Kingdom**.
3:00 pm Get out of water and get dried off. Change clothes and load buses for trip home ***.
3:30 pm Depart Splash Kingdom
4:45 pm Arrive back at White Oak.

• Parents are allowed to attend the Concert portion of the trip. Entry to the Auditorium is free and open to the public.
• Remember that Splash Kingdom is not open to the public until Memorial Day. Please do not ask if there are any extra tickets or if you can enter the park. Entry to the park is for Soundpost Participants only.
• Students WILL bring a dry change of clothes. They also need a towel to dry off. The bus seats do not need to get wet, since the buses will be going out on another trip the next day.

In accordance with the White Oak Middle School guidelines, please make sure your student follows the following rules for Splash Kingdom:
• Girls may either wear a one-piece suit or a two piece. If you wear a two piece, you must wear a t-shirt as a covering. **Regardless it’s a great idea to wear a T-shirt so that you don’t burn. Remember you will be going to school the next day. A sunburn will make Friday miserable!
• Guys need to wear swim trunks (obvious).
• Swim shoes are suggested but not mandatory. This is because the concrete does get hot during the day.
• They need to make sure they have a way of securing their money / cell phones / etc. There will be a lot of kids there and items can quickly walk off. And there will be no way of searching through the mass of students attending the festival.
• Lockers are available to rent, so bring money if you would like to store your clothes and items in a secure location.
• Wear Sunscreen!
• Part of the $35 includes lunch at Splash Kingdom. They will receive a paper bracelet which will allow them to have Chicken Strips & Fries or a slice of Pizza, along with a drink (there might be other options, but I can’t remember them). They only
